Description

Hi!

A client I am doing some consulting for is having trouble with TYPO3 throwing an "Invalid ID given <>" error in relation to some mail sending. Google tells me this error is related to Swiftmailer.

The client is running TYPO3 4.5.2.

Unfortunately I have limited access to the client's server and my knowledge of Swiftmailer is minimal. Thus I have not been able to do much debugging. The problem could be in TYPO3, but possibly also on the server.

I am hoping for any help regarding why Swiftmailer could be throwing this error.

Thanks for any help! :-)

May I suggest that you to ask your question on the mailing list?
You find it at http://lists.typo3.org

You should try the English list first, there are many helpful people reading and responding to questions.

Instead of subscribing, I suggest to use a newsreader as outlined here:

Hi!

I checked the issue in-depth and found out it was due to an incompatibility with Swiftmailer. I disabled Swiftmailer, and everything works fine now. :-)

Closed because reporter found it was a problem with an incompatible extension. Configuration solved the problem. No bug in core.
