Description

On some typo3 installations I see the same website-pagetree twice. See attached picture.

As you can see in the picture, the structure is exactly the same on both "Homepage" website-trees. But this is actually the same page. All ID's of the same-subpage are the same. But the position of the pagetree is different. See different indent of the tree.

I can access both tree-parts independently. Opening one subpart doesn't open the other one subpart too. Having the same pagetree twice is quite confusing for customers. I assume it is a database related problem or something like that. If you need any more details, I will offer them on demand.

Here is another screenshot from the same website.

As you can see there are only two sites on root level (red and purple in the right part of the screenshot). But in the page tree the red (old) page appears twice.

So there must be a difference in the select statement of the "Seite" section on the right side of the screen and the selection for the pagetree. (different number of params during select???)

Actually the user is an administrator user.

And there are no db-mounts selected. (twin_tree3_dbmounts.png)

Hi Qitec,

Unfortunatly I have no idea how this can happen. Does this still appear if you delete your temporary user data in your user settings?

  • Status changed from Needs Feedback to Rejected

This can happen if admin user is member of a group, has "mount from groups" enabled (which is default and unfortunatly only to be seen, when you disable admin) and the group has a mount.
