With #28008 both switch-to buttons were removed for CLI users in the Admin Tools > User Admin module. While I agree that there is little point in switching without switch-back to a CLI user, I find the switch with switch-back mode often useful.

My use case: I have an extension called external_import, which imports external data into TYPO3. The data is saved using TCEmain. The import task can be run using the Scheduler. Thus user _cli_scheduler needs to have rights on tables into which data is imported. In such a scenario it is useful to be able to switch to this CLI user to check whether it has all the appropriate rights or not.

I this propose to reinstate the switch+switch back button for CLI users.
