Work coming from: http://www.webtoolkit.info/javascript-md5.html

Code has been copied 1:1 and has a link to the origin website. Website has following license for the code: http://www.webtoolkit.info/license

Pointing to: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/uk/

I agree. Per default those licenses are not compatible since the specific intention was totally different and CC never meant for software projects.
However since CC somehow "wraps" the GPL and the general intention of having the freedom to do whatever is planned with the work (at least as authorship is still recognizable), it's fine for our case. We did not modify the work and the copyright of the original author is respected and appreciated.

I attached a screenshot of the website the script was taken from - there it's also clearly stated what one can do with the work provided there.
