Because of changes of #28930 it is impossible to edit the title field of a reocrd when it is opened as a popup.
a link to open it would be
/typo3/alt_doc.php?&edit[pages][10]=edit
there is a JS error
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of null
which comes from line 55 of t3lib/js/jsfunc.tceforms_suggest.js
how to test
use the url as written above and the title of a page empty, if you would edit a tt_content record, the header would be empty.

further investigation shows, that PATH_typo3 needs to be set from outside, sometimes there is no top and also no windoow.opener ...
