Bug #35193
closedShow warning if colPos-field not allowed and CE created col other than "normal"
0%
Description
It is possible to create "broken" user-rights where colPos is not in the list of allowed fields. Then a person still sees there is a right column, can click on the icon to add an entry there - but when saving that entry ends up in the wrong column since no other value then "0" (the default) can be saved.
We should show a warning when the person tries to create (and even edit?) a CE for a column with colPos != 0 and if that field is not allowed.

what about removing the field from the access list? otherwise there would be far more things like copy/paste/cut which needs to be checked too.
if someone wants to remove the field (because e.g. there is only one col), there is still tsconfig to hide it

I agree. With Drag & Drop in the page module enabled, the select box can be hidden.
