4.7.0beta3: Getting an Error on Step 2 Upgrade Wizard:

"Step 2 - Configuration of updates
The following updates will be performed:

Versioning and Workspaces"

0 Fatal error: Call to a member function sql_select_db() on a non-object in /var/www/src/typo3_src-4.7.0beta3/t3lib/class.t3lib_install_sql.php on line 284

No workaround, no further hints yet.

i can't reproduce that, got dbal installed or anything else maybe strange setting?

can you test the current version from git?

Thx for the feedback.

I recognized that the Extension Workspaces was not installed. Installing it fixed the error.

I don't know, if Workspaces is installed on a fresh installation.

If not, than that is the cause of this issue.

Problem seems resolved, didn't get this problem on fresh installs or on system updates with (and without) Versioning enabled.
