Bug #37422
closedAdding text to most common icons

Description
Hi!
It's about the tiny green + icon :)
For a long time TYPO3 user it becomes so natural that it's hard to believe that this icon actually says no much and it's too tiny.
As a long time user support provider it seems to me that this icon is simply not enough to encourage users to add new content. Users just don't know where to click for adding content. Applies to most of users who update their web page not very often, and there's a lot of users like this.
Enabling text for icon option would be very helpful. "+ add content here" would actually save lot of time for the editors who really update the page just several times in year.
Nobody actually moves the cursor around looking for help tooltips they just get frustrated "where should I click?" frustration marks system with complicated tag. Besides would help lot of newbie editors who see the back end first time.

Hi,
we are aware of this issue. We plan to "fix" this in the next Major Release.
It's planed to have at least 2 icon sizes 16x16 and eg. 24x24 and maybe
the possibility to active "Icon + Text" for Major Icons.

I will close this one for the following reasons:
- The whole interface has been redesigned since 7.6 and now icons are bigger and more usable.
- Page module on version 8 has the text "content" side by side with the add content icon (see attached screenshot)
If you think that this is the wrong decision, please reopen it or add a new issue with a reference to this one
Thank you.
