typolink to rootpage generates empty link (if used without absRefPrefix)
Added by Stefan Neufeind over 12 years ago.

Description
Creating a typolink to the rootpage of a site generates an empty link. Usually it would contain the name of that page (contact.html or so) but not for the rootpage. If however absRefPrefix is set that "nothing" gets prefixed with the domain and it works.
How could this be solved elegant without using absRefPrefix?
Linking to / might be an option, but if a basehref of http://example.com/abc/def/ is used that would link to http://example.com/ and "break out" of the basehref that way.
Would it maybe be an option to add absRefPrefix as a property of typolink? This way you could at least set it to 1 (or 0) on a per-link-basis and avoid having to set it for the whole page if you know you just need it for one special link to the root.
But a general solution that automatically works fine no matter what the target-page is would be great.
