Description

When using the insert image option in htmlarea and resizing it (not with the mouse on the corners of the image) using right click and editing the image sizes, I wanted to delete the height value and just defining the width, so the height should be calculated proportional, it doesn’t work because it still uses the height value used before. So it is only possible to resize the image by resizing it with the mouse by clicking the image at the corner and then resize it.

I think this should work with Magic Images, but the proportional scaling will appear only after saving, the scaling being done by the RTE transformation.

In the case of plain images, you can also configure the RTE transformation so that the scaling is corrected in a particular way. See property plainImageMode on this page: http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/core-documentation/doc_core_api/4.3.2/view/7/2/#id1683763

Sorry, so you mean I should use lockRatio in plainImageMode? I have no access to that system anymore, but I will try it on another system and activate that image button in the rte (better never use it).
