Thank you for the hint for the view icon.
I did not find any possibility to access the language configuration.

One possibility might be to add a standard parameter to the core (sys_language_uid=?) that always forces the config.sys_language_uid to be set. But that is a issues which must be discussed and brings many compatibility issues.
