Current image tab now always shows up in RTE : it shouldn't

Description

When you use images in the RTE, there are two possibilities :

1) You insert a new image and you should have the following tabs displayed : New Magic image, New plain image, Drag & drop, Upload

2) You edit an existing image and you should have the following tabs displayed : Current image, New Magic image, New plain image, Drag & drop, Upload

The problem is, when you insert a new image, the current image tab now will always shows up, while there is no current image selected. This is a regression because it used to work properly in typo3 4.5. This may be connected to issue http://forge.typo3.org/issues/39376 as it seems the RTE loses track of the current image and can not edit it properly.
