I updated from v4.7.7 to 6.0.
after updating, i can't access the "backend user" page to add backend users. following error appears:
"Oops, an error occurred!
No settings detected. This module can not work then. This usually happens if there is no frontend TypoScript template with root flag set. Please create a frontend page with a TypoScript root template.
"
Tested this in FF16, Chrome 23, ie9

Hm, does i have to add a typoscypt template for my frontpage, to access the backend user page? yes, that worked... solved

Yes, you need to create a frontend TypoScript template for the extbase backend modules to work.
