Bug #43513

Styling of the big buttons in the page module has been forgotten
Added by Chris topher almost 12 years ago.
Updated over 9 years ago.
Category:
Backend User Interface
Description
With mod.web_layout.disableBigButtons = 0
in the TSconfig field of a page you can display 4 big buttons in the top of the page module.
However, positioning them properly seems to have been forgotten. They are just clutched in the upper left hand corner of the available space. See screenshot.
The buttons should instead be positioned nicely, e.g. horizontally centered. And it would be nice, if they could be pushed a bit down so that there is a bit of space below the page name and in top of the buttons.

I think the buttons look ok, what improvement were you thinking of?
The buttons themselves are OK, but the position of the button group is not. It looks like the group is just clutched into the corner. Maybe you can position them nicely inside the available space, e.g. center them horizontally. Just position them somehow nicely in the available space.
Attached is a screenshot, which shows, what I mean. Just position them somehow more nicely. :-)
Hi Felix,
any news here? The issue is still valid; also in 6.0 and 6.1.
- Assignee set to Benjamin Kott
- Target version changed from 6.0.1 to 7.4 (Backend)
- Is Regression set to No
In version 6.2 the design of the button has changed and is no more "clutched": see attached screenshot "Schermata 2015-07-13 alle 11.32.00.png".
In version 7 the functionality has been dropped ( https://git.typo3.org/Packages/TYPO3.CMS.git/commit/0e6d8b0bbf08dbdc1e8f945519779db2e563d479)
as there is no broken functionality I am closing this; if you think that this is the wrong decision, then please write to the mailing list typo3.teams.bugs with issue number and an explanation or open a new ticket and add a relation to this ticket number.
