Description

Hello,

I am running 4.7.7 on PHP 5.3.10-1~dotdeb.0 with Suhosin-Patch and the Log is flooded with the following error.

Core: Error handler (BE): PHP Warning: json_encode(): Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in ~/html/TYPO3/typo3_sources/typo3_src-4.7.7/typo3/classes/class.typo3ajax.php line 275

I found some very old issues related to the RTE, but as this differs a bit I opened a new issue.

It seems that this happens if a content element is saved and the backend language is set to german.

Any ideas ?

It looks like the error is caused by a change in PHP since Version 5.3.14.
