Description

External files like PDF files arent correctly stored in the DB, if the external files are on a localized site.

In class Indexer.php in the function submitFilePage() there must be "'sys_language_uid' => $this->conf['sys_language_uid']" in the fields array i think.

Without that, external files can only be found in the default language. What do you think about it?

Hey,

this issue is quite old. since then we've reworked Indexed Search but also page translation handling and site handling (TYPO3 v9), and File Management (FAL in TYPO3 v6.0), the recommendation you mentioned is already in place.
