This is my test, performed on the demo site http://cms62.demo.typo3.org/:

page "Features" > dropdown: quickedit > element "Feature Complete Out-of-the-box" > images > "Add image"

selected an existing image > save

I noticed that the image is not immediatly visible: it seems that the path of the thumbnail is wrong or could not be generated (I see the "broken image" icon and "ID=NEWSOMETHING......." text)
But if I save&close the element and then open it again, the thumbnail is correct.
in FE the image is visible

I can confirm my previous findings on 6.2.14; moreover, I see that

1) the full path of the "broken" image is

http://mysite.com/typo3/sysext/cms/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_photo_02_519086bcec.jpg

(relative path: src="../fileadmin/_processed_/csm_photo_02_519086bcec.jpg)

2) the "link" button has a wrong image path, too:

http://mysite.com/typo3/sysext/cms/layout/sysext/t3skin/icons/gfx/link_popup.gif

(relative path: "sysext/t3skin/icons/gfx/link_popup.gif")

The same bug is not present on 7.4 (latest master)

As this issue is not critical and seems to affect only version 6.2, it will not be fixed, so I close it for now.

If you think that this is the wrong decision or experience the issue again please open a new issue and add a relation to this one

Thank you
