Advanced file metadata cannot be installed

Description
The sys-ext "Advanced file metadata" (filemetadata) cannot be installed. In TYPO3 CMS 6.2 beta an error is thrown saying that the TYPO3 version is not high enough, it needs at least 6.2 (which is the case, but beta). In the latest version from git (2013-10-27, around 10 in the morning) there is not even an error message any more (but ext remains uninstalled).

There is an interesting information in the related issue:
"Note for others who may test: it is important to remove all entries related to filemetadata in PackageStates.php. At first this patch didn't work for me until I found out that I had one entry for "filemetadata" and one entry for "typo3.cms.filemetadata". Only when everything was cleaned could the effect of the patch be observed."
Maybe it helps you to solve this issue.

I cannot reproduce this behavior anymore, it probably was as Stefan suggested. If you encounter the bug again, just report it again. Until then I'll close this report.
