Blank link-wizard when editing link in RTE pointing to non-access file

Description

When a user tried to edit a link in the RTE, and the link points to a file he/she has not access to, the popup link-wizard will be blank, and the error log will show this:

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught exception 'TYPO3\CMS\Core\Resource\Exception\InsufficientFolderAccessPermissionsException' with message 'You are not allowed to access the given folder' in .../typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Resource/ResourceStorage.php:737

Resetting user configuration does not help. The link-wizard work correctly for other links.

Suggestion for solution:
  • Go to another folder automatically
  • Show error message
