Description

Having light version dependencies in composer.json makes packaging of TYPO3 CMS unreliable since:

  • We cannot prevent that a faulty 3rd-party package is committed right before when preparing the package
  • One cannot install TYPO3 CMS from git tags at a later time using the exact same 3rd-party configuration
