TYPO3 Core

I performed the following test with TYPO3 8.7.9:

Prerequisites:¶

1) Fresh TYPO3 installation with two languages (default, Italian and ID=1, English)
2) Create a pagetree like this:

 --+[pagina1]
     |
     +--- [pagina2]

pagina1 is translated in english, while pagina2 is not.

Test:¶

1) create a content element in the default column of pagina 1, default language, type: header, call it "*Test*"
2) switch to language view and translate it in english (Translate mode, not copy), rename it "*Test ENG*"
3) switch to column view (still default language) and cut the content element
4) paste it into pagina2

Results¶

1) pagina1 and its english translation are emptied - if you go back in language view, both "default" columns are empty
2) page view of pagina2 shows only the content element in default language
3) if you translate pagina2, then "*Test ENG*" appears in the default column of the translated pagina2

Is this test valid? Is it sufficient to consider this issue closed or am I forgetting something? Thank you for your feedback.

I tried it as well on 8 LTS again. Works fine. Thanks a lot.
