IRRE: Hide record switch does not change hidden field value

Description
When I click on "Hide record" in 6.2 the row appears half transparent and the "hidden" field is checked:
When I do the same in 7.6 the row also appears half transparent, but the "hidden" field is not changed:
And when saving the entry is still visible in 7.6.
In 6.2 the same TCA configuration works.
When clicking the hidden checkbox in the sub record itself, it works.
