Description
Problem
Removing many extensions that could be dependend among each other takes some time an could be automated.
Documentation
Then uninstall any extension, that is not shipped with the core.
This will avoid broken backend after upgrade due to removed class alias layer.
- There could be a secured button in the extension manager
- In the install tool there could be a point for migration preparations (there are already some postmigration tools)

Hi Daniel,
If I were you, I would simply backup and remove the PackageStates.php in typo3conf folder. It should get rewritten with only the necessary TYPO3 core extensions then.

Hi Nicole,
thank you for this idea :) Sounds reasonable with some postprocessing like reactivation of gridelements.
As there are more import things to do like localization stuff of extbase please close this ticket.
