Cannot use speaking paths containing "typo3"

Description

If I use an extension for speaking paths (RealURL/CoolURI/...) and create a page named "TYPO3", the path segment will be ".../typo3/". Opening that page yields a 404 from the webserver.

This is caused by a too generous RewriteRule in the default .htaccess which is meant for passing through static resources.
