If the rendered text of explanation for inputlinkelement is too long, it is not shown good.
current drawbacks:
- the tooltip doesn't work on a disabled field
- the tooltip on the parent element is really not nice
- the link field itself can be really short, e.g. in a FAL reference, so a hardcoded limit does not work
