When you create a multistep form, if you set httpMethod = get in the Yaml, then when you click in next step then you get the error:
Page Not Found
Reason: Request parameters could not be validated (&cHash empty)

This is an advanced setting and don't work out of the box.
The current EXT:form implementation use only the http method "post".
If you use EXT:form within you own extension with your own implementations you can switch the httpMethod to something else if you want.
