Pages in page tree are not properly selected

Description
There are several actions in the backend that should
trigger a certain page to be selected in the tree like open documents toolbar, live search,
favorites.
However most of the time, the page is not properly selected in the tree.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to page module, navigate to different pages and favorite every page you navigated to.
Reload the backend.
Click the bookmarks
Expected behavior: Pages in tree are selected and selected page is in viewport
Actual behavior: The page tree reloads but no page is selected
