Description

How to reproduce

  1. An editor is editing a record
  2. TYPO3 locks the record
  3. If another editor wants to edit the same record there is a message

This is really annoying if the other editor forgot to close the record and you need to wait worst for an hour until the record will be unlocked automatically.

What I want to have

  • A button to click in this message (or near of it) to ask the editor for closing and therefor unlock the record
  • After clicking the system sends a notification to the other editor to ask for closing the record or ignoring the message
