Filtered pagetree uncollapses on some actions

Description
The pagetree filter sometimes drops out.
Steps to reproduce.
1. Take a large pagetree (I used list module) and open it
2. filter the search tree with a string containing the name of a page deep down.
3. click that page.
4. add a record, e.g. a new subpage (this is just an example, happens in other cases too)
5. the pagetree will be uncollapsed. the filter string is still there, but has no effect anymore

Well, I tested on 9.5.14 and: absolutely!
Now instead of staying uncollapsed, the pagetree has been collapsed fully..
- Filter for a page
- Add a new page (try drag&drop)
- pagetree collapses fully, we've lost our position
