Cannot expand page tree if collapsed

Description
As a backend user without admin permissions, I can only expand the first level of the page tree by using my keyboard. There is no icon, etc. to expand the page tree via mouse click.

Yes - or at least it is similar.
But since there is now the possibility to collapse the page tree (even if unconsciously), something should be done here. Be it deactivating the (collapse) keyboard shortcut for the root page or adding the icon.

The root node can only be collapsed using the keyboard (pressing LEFT key). It can be opened again be pressing the RIGHT key or refreshing the tree view, so it is not a blocking issue, as in my tests the tree is uncollapsed on the next reload of the tree at latest.
There is a discussion in Slack (https://typo3.slack.com/archives/C03AM9R17/p1575477757384800) on whether the toggle button should also be shown when having a single root node or the keyboard action for LEFT key should be disabled for a single root node.
