Description

Some websites providing JavaScripts require one to declare a charset attribute.

We should be able to set that in TypoScript includeJS* configurations.

Thanks for creating this feature request. TBH I have never used this option. When did you needed this thing? Instead of adding a feature for everybody which is only used in 0.1% of all sites I would prefer to use one of the hooks in the PageRenderer to manipulate the outcome and add the attribute yourself.

Would that be ok for you? then I would close the issue.
