Added by Christian Hackl about 4 years ago.
Updated over 3 years ago.
Category:

Description
TYPO3 10.3.0
PHP 7.3.9
ImageMagick-7.0.8-Q16
Go to:
Backend -> Enviroment -> Image Processing -> Run image tests
Ajax Error: (/typo3/install.php?install[controller]=environment&install[context]=backend&install[action]=imageProcessingWriteGif)
PHP Warning: filesize(): stat failed for .../typo3temp/assets/images/installTool-write-gif5e58fc13b5d0e032430318.gif in ...\typo3_sources\typo3_src-10.3.0\typo3\sysext\install\Classes\Controller\EnvironmentController.php line 438
The other methods like write to png etc. work correctly.

Can you tell us more about your system environment? I cannot reproduce the issue currently (on linux with image magick).
what do you want to know?
Windows 10 Latest
PHP & Apache from MAMP Pro for Windows
MySQL or MariaDB native for Windows
Only the gif processing seems to be the problem, all other images are generated to typo3temp/...
I will look if I can reproduce this with other TYPO3 versions...
Update - can't reproduce this with TYPO3 9 or 8 only with 10.3.0.
On another computer the Image Test runs completely, but no preview images are displayed here (Appendix).
The images in "\typo3temp\assets\images" are generated, but not displayed in the backend (img tag(s) have no src-attribute).
TYPO3 10.3.0
PHP 7.2.14 and PHP 7.3.9 and PHP 7.4.1
Not able to reproduce with MAMP on Mac, TYPO3 10.3 and GraphicsMagick
- Category set to Image Generation / GIFBUILDER
Any news on this one? Is there something that can be reasonably done or tested?
maybe yes, can't reproduce this with
TYPO3 10.4.5 || 10.4.4
PHP 7.3.9 || 7.4.5
ImageMagick-7.0.8-Q16
, too.
So I think it is fixed already?! :)
