Translating a root page generates new site configuration

Description

It seems that when a root page is a translated a new site configuration file is generated.
The generated configuration folder is of form "autogenerated-[new_rootpage_uid]-[small_hash]" and it does not seem to be used in any way.

Steps:
  • Configure TYPO3 to work with multiple languages
  • Translate a root page
  • Notice that a new site configuration is generated
