Alternate language pages shows 404 if page in default language is hidden

Description

Hy Typo3-Team,

i´ve the following problem:

A page in the standard language must be deactivated (hidden), the alternative language (page) should work, but shows a 404.

Is this a bug or a misconfiguration of me?

The fallbackType for the alternate language has no effect. I thought "free mode" is the right option for that.

Hi and sorry for the late answer;

Have you tried with the following:

1) Enable the page in default language, too
2) Edit it > Language tab > check "Hide default language of page".
