This bug was partly fixed in issue #90918
Unfortunately long content element titles results in a horizontal scroll bar in the workspace module.

Sorry, I did not see that the title length is now depending on the "Max. title length" settings of the backend user.
When the value is configured properly the title will be cropped as well.
This issue can be closed.
