I tried the settings mentioned here (https://docs.typo3.org/c/typo3/cms-core/master/en-us/Changelog/10.1/Feature-89115-Auto-createRedirectsOnSlugChanges.html) in my config.yaml but none of them seem to work: the redirects are always generated, even if I use:
autoCreateRedirects: false
