Description

The "Backend Layout (subpages of this page)" is a great feature to set a backend layout for sub trees or even the whole sites' page tree.

If the feature however is used more detailed, editors can easily get confused. Especially in case the backend layouts use the same amount of columns and the same column names, but differ in their frontend rendering. In such case it's not easily be possible for an editor to find out which layout exactly is inherited, as this information is hidden in one of the parent pages.

To improve the usability of this feature, an information should be displayed in the page properties, informing the editor about the actually used backend layout for the current page.
