Description
With a clean and brand new installation I get the error "The Prototype "standard" was not found." when using a form at the page.
Reproduce:- Install a brand new TYPO3 11 (I used ddev)
- Add a new form (Predefined contact form)
- Add this form to a blank page
- Set the Application Context to Development
- Try to view this page in the frontend

I had the same problem, but was able to solve it by editing the typoscript template record and adding "Form (form) [EXT:form/Configuration/TypoScript/]" in "Include static (from extensions)[include_static_file]".
After that the error was not shown again.

There is nothing we can do programmatically to avoid this problem. But I will add a hint to the form documentation.

After a lot of testing and thinking I am closing this issue. There is a quick start guide located at https://docs.typo3.org/c/typo3/cms-form/main/en-us/QuickStartForIntegrators/Index.html which clearly states the inclusion of the static TypoScript template. I have no idea what I could document in addition to the existing tutorials etc.
