Instead of using $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['reports']['tx_reports'] and $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['SC_OPTIONS']['reports']['tx_reports']['status']['providers'] the service configuration is used to register reports and status
