f:form -Viewhelper: Argument "addQueryString" not working

Description
The f:form viewhelper has the argument "addQueryString". In TYPO3 V12 it has no effect anymore. All additional GET parameters are dropped, instead of adding them to the url.
It is set in in the FormViehelper (EXT:fluid/Classes/ViewHelpers/FormViewHelper.php Line 220 https://github.com/TYPO3/typo3/blob/343846070ac459dbd2f97a8cc8b2b82c33d1223d/typo3/sysext/fluid/Classes/ViewHelpers/FormViewHelper.php#L220), but never evaluated, when building the uri for the frontend.
Maybe it is a leftover / regression of https://docs.typo3.org/c/typo3/cms-core/main/en-us/Changelog/12.0/Breaking-98488-TypolinkOptionAddQueryStringOnlyIncludesResolvedQueryArguments.html
I came across this behavior, when updating EXT:powermail for TYPO3 V12.
