tt_news update wizard broken

Description
The tt_news extension got an extra page where you can make changes to the database, needed for mitigation to version 3.x.
Try to test it by installing the old tt_news (p.e.: 2.5.x) and then upgrade to 3.x. Then you will see a wizard in the basic settings in the em. Basically an element in the upper right corner. Try to open this upgrade wizard will fail!
If this is a non-standard solution from tt_news, you probably could think about an extra tab which is reserved for upgrading data. Which could happen in any extensions after rewriting. At least this seems to be different from the db-update wizard which adds extra columns or tables. This seems to be an update for stored data, depending on specific values and processed by php-code before writing back / overwirte. I've seen such a tab in another extension but I can't remember the name of that extension.
Maybe this issues is not a em problem?! But it's related to the new em.

there is a link to update script in the info tab.
However tt_news behave weird her, it opens 2 windows (move the first)
I'll check that, it works for other extensions i checkrd before.

This worked the last times for me with TYPO3 4.5 releases. So this issue seems fixed. Reopen if it doesn't work for you and provide version number of tested TYPO3 and tt_news.
