Description
I have installes dbal and dam.
When using the list modul and opening the category tree, i got a lot of entries with now title and no icon. i think there are about 50 entries....
Also got a lot of foreach errors in different dam modules. I think the queries are not compatible with the dam.
I think there is much work for a stable version.

In DAM 1.0 all database accessing should be DBAL valid in that way that the right TYPO3 DB functions are used. If DBAL can handle the generated SQL - I don't know.

Please no "I think my part is fine" arguments in this bug :-)
Would be nice if you could have a phone call to settle what's going wrong with DAM and DBAL in conjunction.

I'll start looking at this the next days. For now I installed what is currently in TER and could even install it after fixing two hardcoded uses of double quotes for quoting literals... :)

Hah, dam_catedit sports some raw mysql_* calls...

dam.querygen.php is another patch that solves an issue with the TYPO3 "sql parser".
Once again assigning to René. We worked on DAM / DBAL together, but I am not completely sure about the status of changes being released. Therefore assigning this to René, so it can be closed if a fixed version is released.
The described error is gone in the 1.1RC1 release., therefore I'll close this one.
Beware that there are tons of issues to be expected when using DAM with DBAL, though.
