Problem: In tt_news and some other extensions, it is not possible to access plugin records that do already exist. Instead of opening, a window is started that wants to download a file alt_doc.php. If I let iteither save this empty file or break this question, it just does not open the record for editing. I tested this on typo3 4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.1beta3.

There exists a patch that solves this problem:

Unfortunately this bug fix was never used. It works on all typo3 versions that I tested (3.8.1-4.1beta3).

This patch should really be applied. It is very easy to do and helps a lot.
