hallo
if someone works in a different workspace than LIVE the site tree in the typo3 backend show unpublished pages with a darker grey background color
if a page contains subpages, the last subpage is shown as published, depending on the selection in the tree

This ticket is invalid now since with the new workspace modul the whole tree is rendered with extjs and doesn't use different colors any more.
This also needs to be fixed. There is no css class available in the tree for different version statuses
