Description

After upgrade to TYPO3 4.1.6 the bug 0006676 is still present.

It happens with RTE 1.5.5 (revision 3600) in wec_discussion extension.

The problem happens:
- Firefox 2.0.0.14 (on Win XP) - whenever a popup window is opened by clicking on a button of the RTE (link, image, about, etc.), the window stays open for only about 5 seconds, then closes automatically and causes the frame where the editing is taking place to reload.

- IE7, IE6 - popup window remains opened, but no action takes effect.

And the output of the troubleshooting mode:

[HTMLArea::init]: All scripts successfully loaded.
[HTMLArea::init]: Editor url set to: /typo3/sysext/rtehtmlarea/htmlarea/

The bug you're referring to was not commited to TYPO3 4.2 branch.
What exactly are you using? TYPO3 4.1.6 or the SVN branch and which one?

You mean, it was not committed to 4.1 branch.

I'm using TYPO3 4.1.6 (Stable version).

The following error apperars with standard RTE 1.5.5 version and also witth the most actual SVN version for 4.1 branch (revision 3600).

I am unable to reproduce this issue with FF 2.0.0.14 and htmlArea RTE 1.5.5. Please delete from directory typo3temp all files starting with rtehtmlarea_ and clear the browser cache.

I am not sure this is related to #6676, because that issue was related to changes introduced for 4.2.

Perhaps the installation is not clean?

@misza : do you still get this error? What error is reported on the JS console?
