Description

The new htmlArea RTE in 4.2.0 does not go automatically to a new line (visually) when typing text and reaching the right border of the editor.

This causes any spacebar press (blank space) at the RTE right border to being ignored.

A problem appears in FF2.0.0.14, FF3 beta 5 and IE7, but not in Safari 3.1.1 nor in Opera 9.50 beta 2.

If you press a long word without space so as to produce horizontal overflow, then pressing the space bar does not bring the cursor on a new line. However, if you then press a key other than the space bar, the cursor does move to the new line and the second word appears on this new line...

Well, yes, I'm using FF2.0.0.14. But actually there is another annoying issue. If the words are well cut and you are placed on the new line and type the remaining of your text. If for some reason you delete a few words, keeping on the same line (the second one), sometimes the text is rewrapped and the last word of the previous line is put on the line you are editing. In such case, the space at the line break is removed and those two words are put together (the old last word of the above line and the first word of the new line).

I can reproduce this bug too (using FF2.0.0.14). It doesn't appear every time reaching the end of a line. But if it appears, spaces are ignored and when I continue writing all the following words have no word-spacing between them. When I save the record now and reload it, the editor displays the text correctly (with all missing spaces from before) and wraps the text in a proper way.

If I add the "missing" spaces before! saving by pressing the space bar a second time, the word spacing seems to be correct, but after saving and reloading there are two spaces between the words. In HTML-Code-View there are additional & nbsp ; Chars at this places, so I have to delete them again.

I uploaded an example screenshot of this issue.
