Bug #18769

Using RTE in new kickstarter ext., contextmenu produces -> Error "How did you get here? (Please report!)"
Added by Stefan Völker over 16 years ago.
Updated about 6 years ago.
Description
I created a new extension over the Kickstarter, containing two fields "Text area with RTE".
When i open the context-menu, the "How did you get here?" Message appears, on every following click out of the contextmenu.
I have to reload the backend to cancel this.
BTW -> (i am not sure, if the following is reproducable, but maybe it has to do something with this bug):
When i try to open the context-menu in the first RTE-area-field - it is not appearing - the browser-context-menu appears instead ?!
TYPO3: 4.2.0
RTE: 1.7.4
DAM: 1.0.13 (RTE-Feature activated)
OS: Max OS 10.5
Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.14

Do you have the same issue if there is only one field rte-enabled?
Sorry for the late reply - i have been in holidays...
No, if there is only one rte-field, it work's fine !
It just occures with two rte-fields.
I noticed the same problem on one of my sites (since upgrading to Typo3 4.2). This site uses the fdfx_2cols (2.3.0) extension which uses two rte fields to edit the two content columns.
The error only occurs when more than one rte field is visible on the current page. (I also noticed the same problem with the browser/rte context menu as mentioned by Stefan)
I'm using the same versions as mentioned above. (OS: Windows; Browser: Firefox and IE)
I noticed the same problem with two RTE fields on the selected page. Is there any solution now?
I have the same error, with an self created FCE with multiple RTE fields.
Uploading a second version of the patch as localization of some labels was broken in the previous one.
Fixed in SVN TYPO3core branch TYPO3_4-2 revision 3850.
