BE Search only seeks in first mount

Description
Hi,
when i enter a string in the BE-Searchbox only pages/records in the first DB-Mount are included. When i enter a number there is no problem.

Will there be any review for this bug?
This bug matters a lot. Users with various DB-mounts can not search the whole tree, thus have to klick each mount first. This is annoying.

I've been looking at this (started on bugday the 29th of august) and I think I have a patch within soon (semi working now).. I'm adding an extra parameter to db_list called extraIds. It feels a bit uncomfortable but it was a solution "making it easy for me" leaving the std id paramter.....
I'll be back with a patch to test.. btw. it's the same behaviour with 4.1.6..

Do you have any patch to get work on this started a bit easier maybe? It may still have some rough edges that can be ironed out in the review then ...

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
