Bug #18988
closedEmpty reference index table
0%
Description
Hi all!
I've just installed Typo3 4.2.1 on my server.
Now, when I open the backend there's a notice field that reads:
"Important notice!
- The Reference Index table is empty which is likely the result of a recent TYPO3 upgrade. Please go to Tools>DB Check and update the reference index."
I perform the task (Tools>DB Check and update the reference index).
The result:
"1 records from 15 tables were checked/updated.
Index Integrity was perfect!"
Still, the notice is displayed every time I login.
Help please!

I have the exact same issue:
The Reference Index table is empty which is likely the result of a recent TYPO3 upgrade. Please go to Tools>DB Check and update the reference index.
-->
1 records from 22 tables were checked/updated.
Index Integrity was perfect!
But still i have the "The Reference Index table ..." shown in "about modules".

Hi, did both of you upgrade from a previous TYPO3 release (e.g. 4.1.x) or did you install a clean and new TYPO3 4.2.1?

I did a clean and new TYPO3 4.2.1 Installation.
I resolve the Problem ...
after I klick "Update required tables COMPARE"
I do "Dump static data Import"
an every thing was fine.

Mine was an upgrade from 4.1.5
I tried what Daniel said, it still shows the message, but after running an update of reference index in BE its gone.
