<displayCond>FIELD:another_field:!=:2</displayCond> or <displayCond>HIDE_FOR_NON_ADMINS</displayCond> does not have any effect when the field is inside a container.

TemplaVoila does not display forms. Forwarding to TYPO3 core project. The bug is to be fixed in TCEforms.

It's not a problem to call the displayCond, but it's a problem to address a field in a section.
Using HIDE_FOR_NON_ADMINS doesn't matter
Using FIELD:another_field has this problem, as usually you will have the reference to another field in the section, so resolve of XPath is something generally missing.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
